Dulcidio Caldeira was born in Brazil and started his career in 1988. In 2000, joined AlmapBBDO. In 2005, was the most awarded copywriter of the country. In 2007, was hired by BBDO/NY, where he stayed for two years. In 2008, went back to AlmapBBDO to run the creative department. In 2009, the Big Won Report appointed him as one of the two most awarded Creative Directors of the world. In 2010, left Almap and joined ParanoidBR to direct commercials. In 2011, Dulcidio co-wrote and shot the spot "Balloons, for MTV Brasil. The spot won a Gold on Design, a Gold on Craft and a Bronze on Film category at the Cannes Festival. According to the Big Won Report, "Balloons" was the 10th most awarded commercial of the world. In 2012, Dulcidio judged the Craft category at the Cannes Festival, D&AD and Clio. In 2013, he won a Bronze at Cannes with the "Guitar man" campaign for MTV. In 2014, his campaign for the New Beetle launching was elected the best of the country by Profissionais do Ano / Rede Globo – the most prestigious TV award in Brazil. In 2015, he won a Bronze at Cannes with a campaign for Ducoco Sports Drink.
